No offense taken, but I'm not only wanting a red Z - I'm getting my 3rd RED Z. You're the first person, including several women, I've ever known to call it a "chick" color - guess I'm really secure in my masculinity. Are all those red Ferraris chick cars too?
It's been my experience that real hot chicks like to ride in the passenger seat of my red ZZZZ!!!! I'd rather have them there (or someplace else more isolated than behind the wheel) Then, that's another story.

I have to agree. Red is definitely NOT a uhh, uhm, female color. 
I would handidly choose a Red 360 Modena over any other color, just due to the fact that red is synonymous with Ferrari!

P.S. Jeffw the heinies are from Holland. No offense to the Sams, I just like them better. For american brew the local Goose Island beers are it.

I might get flamed to death for this, but I think this Redline is way too orange. It is a common problem with Nissan - very few Nissans were offered in a good red hue. Molten Lava red is a nice color on current Xterra. Why can't they have the red that Lexus (SC430) or MB (C series) or Acura (CL) use ? Those are nice reds - a bit darker, "raspberry red" tones. Redline will look good under overcast skies, but in bright sun, it will probably look washed out. I hope Daytona Blue is not too light in person, so far it looks good on the pictures. I wish they made StarFire Blue which was available on '97 ALTIMA's - VERY dark blue. Still no pictures of Pikes Peak, pity. Also, they SHOULD offer Z in Yellow Pearl, it would look stunning.

I'm just playin' guys. Even though you're all in denial...
I DO like the pics of the Redline, there I said it. I just couldn't bring myself to go after it. BTW, VQ, is that the female racecar driver behind the wheel of that F-1 Ferrari? Kinda looks like it with that profile view...
And, by the way... NONE of you would still look any better than a CA beach girl behind the wheel of the Red Z! Admit that, then we can move on with the Great Red Debate in another thread at another time...

I should also mention that today "Fairlady Z in Japan" fed-exed me a press video from Nissan over there that has a Fairlady Z "commercial" (short, artistic video) that has been seen online before.... the one with the Z hauling throuhg a deserted town and then up beside a woman and a kid at a bus station, the little girl drops her bike etc... very artsy.
He also sent me a magazine (see attached image) with some Z stuff. I'll scan these in as well and post with all the rest of the stuff that I am bringing online later tonight.

after seeing the red pic, i called my dealer right away trying to change my color. but no luck after he talked to his manager.
they told me the car is going in production, and they won't even able to get any dealer order until later.
has any of you guys tried to change your color?
