Default Will a guitar fit in the Z?

I have never had a chance to step up and look at a Z in person. I am wondering if a guitar in its case will fit inside it.

Taking my son to the train yesterday we packed an electric guitar in soft case, new tennis racket in case, portable computer, & a midsize duff bag. Back of Z has a fair amount of room....as long as any one item is not to large.

You can fit a Les Paul sized case in the space behind the rear speakers and in front of the rear strut tower brace. Not sure about my molded, Amer. Stand. Tele, but it might fit.

My Warlock doesn't fit anywhere but the front seat.

Thanks for the reply and help. From some of the reviews and comments that compared the Z to the G35, it seemed like there wouldn't be enough room for a briefcase in the Z.

Here is a thread where I got some help when struggling with space questions.

After getting the car, my big suitcase fits fine behind the bar, so I'm comfortable it can be a travel car if it needs to be. Not sure about your guitar, but maybe the measurements will help you.

I posted this once before but easier to repeat than find. Last week we took a camping trip in the Z. Here is what fit easily in the car:

-2 person tent
-2 sleeping bags
-2 folding chairs
-1 large duffel bag
-2 medium duffels
-1 camp stove

OK , I took two guitar cases out to the Z. One for a dreadnaught and one for a Strat. The dreadnaught must be inserted, neck first, from the hatch, under the cross bar towards the left or right seat. It just will fit. No room for a 2nd one unless you put it in the passenger seat. The Strat case fit front to rear only. No room to place it side to side. It may fit behind the seats side to side but I did not look or try. Either way I could only get one guitar case in the rear of the car. Hope this helps.

You went camping and didn't bring a cooler? Where did you put your beer? I would have left those sleeping bags and chairs and brought a cooler.

You guys are a riot on this camping thing.

Thunder, the site was a campground barely off a paved road so other than a little mud the Zzzzz was not roughing it. The trip also provided a couple hundred miles of great back roads for the Z to do its thing.

del105, do not fear, the beer was near!! LOL. I bought one of those cheap buck 99 styrafoam coolers while at the campground.

My Strat should fit, but I'm not sure about my dread. Obviously, either would fit in the front seat....

Doubt the Vox would fit.

I must confess, i used to go camping in my 78 280Z. In South Fla most camping places and campgrounds are accessable by any 2 wheel drive. That car was a blast to drive in the suger sands down there. Kinda like playing in a snow covered parking lot.

Will my Boogie Triaxis, 2:ninty rack fit in the boot with my two Ibanez's? How about my Marshall box, can I cram it into the passanger seat? just jokes on the marshall! But would say a 6 unit SKB case fit in the back with a guitar case?

Hell Dude, just get a van and look for groupies that have Z's. The Z is not a cargo van it is a sports car. I was in a band many years ago when I have my 280. I also had a E150 to haul the gear and get quickies in. Left the Z for date nights.
