point taken. then considered!
you think a z is really all that? son i'm 48 yrs old and let me say that the muscle cars of the late 60's would put you back in your seat so hard that you couldn't move your head foward if you tried. first..sideways(hang on) second..rear end shifts a little to the left.......third...gone. forth...
the point is that my z 05 preformance is alot slower than my first car and i've known serveral people who have given or help buy their kids fast cars. not saying that all of them didn't have some kind of trouble with them cause that would be a lie. but they are all still alive and they did the same for their kids. to me it's all about the kid.....if they are kinda brain dead when it come's to common since then yea you would'nt want to buy something for them to get hurt in.

Everytime I go pick up my brother from high school. Kids in corollas and civics feel the need to rev, peel out, and skid cars sideways out of the lot. Don't get me wrong, I was 16 before. But why do that with 4 cylinder cars that are 10 yrs old. No good attention there. Especially when my car is within the same lot. Do it where there is no one. I've done this with friends in an empty lot before, and it is a lot more fun than doing it around parked cars. Sorry just had to rant at how some people you're age don't think. Now back to topic. GET A MANUAL! I hope you appreciate this car and don't go too overboard with it. When you get the need to speed(abnoxiously), drift, etc. Do it on a closed course or track when you get more confident with the car under normal driving. Good luck with the car.
