Well first off, ur friend is a ***** for getting upset that you wont be in a 4 banger club. Second, he's an idiot for thinking honda is anything else besides simple transportation. Third, a NISSAN Z or a TOYOTA Supra will murder any honda out there, including s2000. And no, an srt4 cant beat a Z, unless you just can't drive. I kill str4's all the time. Trust me, get the Z, you wont regret it one bit.

 

I had friends just like that. All though its all in good fun but it gets irritating after a while. I had a 3 friends who all talked down on my Z when I first bought it.

First friend: Owns a 92 Civic Hatch w/ a built N/a motor (slow for what it is). He asked me to test drive my car. So I let him, he comes back and says thats it???? Not impressed. I told him that the Z's power curve is very smooth and not dramatic like Vtec. He goes on and on and on how I better get turbos if I want to beat him. So I said ***** it. Lets race. I killed him 2 times from a dig and a third time from a roll.....YOu should have seen the look on his face. It was priceless. Im not one to brag but my brother sure rubbed it in. LOL

2nd friend: Drives an s2000.

He was doggin on the Z before I even bought it. And when i did, He would talk trash everytime I see him. So I said lets run then. He tells me to wait for his new tires and wheels. SO I wait for 2 weeks and he calls me and says ready to get smoked. We raced and I beat him by a car length or so. I come back and the look on his face was priceless. Couldnt say a damn thing. Like always my bro rubbed it in repeatedly. LOL Top it all off he sells the S2000 and gets an EVO.

3rd Friend: Drives a Lexus gs400.

Like my first friend he test drives my car and comes back with THATS IT??? You wasted your money. SHould of gotten something w/ 8 cylinders like me. I was like ok. whatever. Later on that night We raced from a roll. I WALKED him, It wasnt even funny. Again the look on his face was priceless.

wow Z and an RSX isnt even the same class. sure you can put mods in an RSX and watch it fly, but same with the Z and your Z will always be classier than that car ever. Honda 2000 is alright, but so little torque, Z IS SWEET

Sounds like your friends just jealous your gonna have a nicer looking and overall better car. My friend was the same way when I got my E36 M. He drove a Honda accord and i had a honda civic. He told me stick with 4 cylinders and that jap cars could beat a german car anyday.

 

I say just get the Z. I didn't tell anyone for 3 months when I first got it. My friends were all surprised after. If you had already gotten a Z, he can't do anything about it other than drooling over your new ride. If he loves the RSX so much, you should ask him to buy it. Different person, different taste. Just because he like fat girls doesn't mean you have to.

 

I think you should get what you want and forget about what people say if you go by what people say you'll never be happy....

I think your friend is leaning towards the Brokeback Mountain side. I think he's secretly in love with you and will be jealous if you direct all your love towards the Z instead of his *****. Ultimately, he probably wants to give you head in his civic instead of the Z cuz the civic has more headroom. Just my guess but I think your friend likes it in the ***... THE END!!

 

I know exactly what you're talking about! It's amazing, it's like there's an entire sub-culture of ignant a$$ Civic owners who don't know a good car if it ran into them. They would rather spend 10k worth of mods on their 15k car, when all along they could have bought a Z. Damn crazy I tell you!

What is wrong with Honda guys they think there car is the fastest thing in the world and are like a cult!!!
Dont buy an S2000 they are fun but you have to bring them up to 6k to feel any power. My suggestions for cars would be

1.350Z,
2. EVO 8
3. Used M3
4. Ferrari Modena 360 OOPs that doesnt fit the price bracket.....

 

Well next time when ur head over somewhere with ur Z and him in his..........accord just be cocky as hell and just show off all the love ur car will get. Otherwise just dust him and make him catch up wherever u go.
