Too much heat???

I usually have the heat on coming from the floor with the windows open when it's chilly out and I'm cruising ; it keeps my legs warm and I still get fresh air, plus it makes the car run better. But, when the windows are up, I swear I could come out freshly baked.
I dunno about you guys, but the a/c is on medium strength for the whole trip on every trip. 65degrees. If it could go under 65 degrees, I would...........Its freakin hot in Hawaii every day of the year.
