Wing Opinions needed! Help!
Yet another opinion is needed. I am in the process of installing a new body kit on the 350. I had a Nismo wing on until my car was hit now I am getting a new one. The dealer ordered me a carbon fiber one and now I am figuring painting options. My car is PPW (pikes peak white) so I am not feelin’ the all black carbon fiber look so this is what I am proposing. Visualize this in your head before you answer.
1. Color matching it to my car entirely (easy to picture)
2. Painting the base and pillars PPW but leaving the entire wing portion CF.
3. Painting the base, pillars as well as the TOP of the wing and leaving the underside if it CF for an accented CF look. That way it flows with the side profile but at an angle you can see the CF mesh underneath and on the sides of the wing where they fold and angle down.
I am also going with custom made CF canards in the front, CF diffuser as well as CF side window pillar accents. The CF vented hood I am going with will be painted as well PPW but keeping the venting CF.
I tried to find a good pic of a CF wing to paintshop if anyone has one let me know as well!
Thoughts or ideas anyone?
God this stuff is addicting.
