Default Master of the Z??

Ok, I just want to know who all here has mastered, (and when I say mastered I mean, you know your car like the back of your hand), their 350Z...This question is mainly targetted to people with manuals. I dont have a Z at the moment, but I have mastered (I think!!) my Camaro...Just say how long you've had it and if you've mastered it yet, and please don't lie, because you would only be lieing to yourself!

I have mastered every car that I've owned but not the Z yet. I've only put 4k miles on her and haven't taken her to an autoX track YET. I just don't feel comfortable pushing her limits on the street..I've grown out of that idiot phase.

I also had a b*tchin' Camaro HO 305 5spd, t/tops. with cams/ exhaust. I mastered that when I was 18. That car made me fall in love w/ RWD MT cars.

If I had mastered my Z, or any other car for that matter, I wouldn’t be pushing a mouse and designing parts as a day job…

The Z has been very easy for me to learn. It is a "drivers car". I've had mine for about 2 years though so it's not like I just figured it out. I push mine hard and it's a blast. I came to the Z already knowing how to drive manual FR and the Z has been a dream come true.

^^ Maybe that explains why I get so giddy just thinking about the things I do in my car.

it took me a while to learn how to drive my 03 6MT. I began to feel full control of my car before hitting 30k. but i am a perfectionist when it comes to driving so I am still trying to perfect my driving even today.
Furthermore, I would say, to know the Z like the back of my hand deals more with mechanics than driving. After doing some simple searches on this forum I've been able to change my LSD/GEar oils, air filter, engine oils, light bulbs, and countless other maintaince stuff that the dealer would charge an arm and an leg for.

this site was one of the reasons I chose to buy the Z.

I tried mastering it with the stock Clutch height and it was difficult so I lowered the play in the clutch and now I am a master!!!
