the paint on our cars is 3 layers... base, top coat of white, and then a pearl coat... so yes... its pearl white.. hell even the touch up paint kit comes with 2 cans... one white, and one with the pearl in it..

Don't be concerned about the name of the color. Call it whatever you would like. The paint code is important. Its on the metal plate under the hood.

What's the difference. It doesnt mater because paint works by a specific code of alfanumeric characters. If they think is pearl or not, that should not impact the color output of the body kit.

I had my car painted about four times now. It's a three stage paint. the pearl is added after the white coat, then the clear goes on the pearl coat. the traick is to try to get the right amount of pearl mixed, because you don't want to have to much pearl or not enough pearl.

My paint guy does a great job matching up the paint.
