My car doesn't do rain and is perfectly clean at any moment. After driving to work once a week the thing gets cleaned top to bottom to remove the dust, pollen and bird pee.

That is my usual plan as well. The wax sometimes gets put on hold in the winter though.

I wash my car every weekend. Of course its not my DD so i only drive it on weekends. Washing the car is a good hangover killer. After a fun friday night at the bar i wake up and the first thing i do is wash the z.

That's about what I do with mine. It's doesn't see rain unless I can't help it.
That duty is for the Pathfinder. I use a California duster every other day and place a car cover on my baby at night in the garage so she stays clean all the time.

If I go on a long road trip (>200miles)I generally give her a bath the next day.

I gave her a bath today just cause she had a little goop on her skirts.

It's supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow so Pathfinder is going to get some road time:

I just love that Pathfinder. I'm in love with the VQ motor. Smooth power / ride.
My sister in law calls the Pathfinder the Cadilliac of SUV's. I agree. For those of you that don't know Cadilliac was once the benchmark of the silky smooth ride.

I put over 2000 miles on her a month and wash her probably every 2 or 3 months.

She's a car... just like every other car on the road...
