Default quick question..

would it be ok to drive my z around (no harsh driving) for about 10 t0 14 days without the front strut-bar? the new one is on back order, and the stock one doesnt fit with the 5/8 spacer. i'd appreciate anyones advice greatly

It'd be fine to drive it harshly. The strut bar isnt "necessary" at all. It just improves rigidity. Go for it man!!

Oh, and by the way...The stock bar fits with the motordyne 5/8 spacer, but not with the 1/2 inch. AAM's needs some washers to go under the mounting holes of the bar itself to raise it up a hair, I believe. Are you sure you got the 5/8 inch?? Now, this might all be different on the 06', not sure there bud.

With 5/8 being larger than 1/2 how could it possibly fit. Now if it is 5/16 we are talking about...yes, it will fit.
