hey new to the forum, now a proud 350z owner, 2003 touring. Just bought it about a month ago with 39,000 on it. Love the car but having a couple of problems. When i first drive it in the morning, there is a terrible whining like noice coming from the front passenger side. At least that's where I think it is coming from. Possibly drivetrain noise? It only occurs when i get up to a certain speed but is not associated with the engine revs. Anyone have an idea of what it might be? Also, the cd player skips until the car is warmed up. It's the Bose 6disc changer. Anyone have problems with them? Thanks

Funny you mentioned this. I just bought an 03 silver touring on feb 6th. And already my drivers side window will not roll down. Only occasionally. I need to take it to the Nissan dealer as it is still under warranty. and yes my CD player skips until the car is warm just like yours. i only get an annoying whining noise when im doing 80 mph on the expressway. but yeah im really starting to believe my beloved Z is cursed! lol

 

The Bose system is crapola. Replace it with a nice after market head unit and some decent speakers. As far as your other problem goes? No idea.
