i've notice that everytime i wash my car, i find some water and soap on that bar with a Z on it in my trunk. i been in a front accident and back accident so could that be the reson for the leaking or could it just be the car? the warranty should cover it right?

Depends on what is leaking. If its from the bodywork, which it very well may be, bring it back to the shop. It could just be stripping not all the way in, but you have to do a little looking around.

Check the seals around the glass, and around the edges of the hatch.

Might be worth taking the plastic off around the cargo hatch to get a better look at where its comming from.

mmm...I would sadly suspect macco is to blame for this. I haven't heard of many guys having leaking issues with their hatch so the likely problem is related to the repair job. I do hope you get them to admit and fix this however this may just be the begining of the problems you might have from having macco do the repairs. good luck and use that asian fury on them!

I've never heard that issue addressed in all 3 years, which likely indicates that it resulted from the collision. Perhaps an overlooked or faulty repair...hopefully a minor one. Check the trunk lid alignment and all rubber seals lining the trunk.

Also check the glass. I once had glass repair on an old car. Looked great, but upon washing, it was leaking in sheets. I learned that the glass installer was a new and lowest bidder for the insurance company. Turns out he was using the wrong type of adhesive. Its a long story i won't get into (except to say I was still angry when I learned that a year later the insurance company was still using him ), but it is something else you may want to investigate.
