Talking Picking Up The Z On Saturday (now with pics of new car!) !!!

I thought the day would never come, but it looks like this saturday is finally it...i will be picking up my very own z. i wish i could explain how happy and excited i am! its a 2004 redline base with the nismo exhaust and intake and silver 18" LMGT-4's. and it only has 6200 miles on the odometer. i am really pumped and i know that friday is going to seem like its going on forever and i will probobly have trouble sleeping tomorrow night. i will post up some pics as soon as i can of me and my new z. i can barely wait!!!

james

congratZ in advance, man...I remember when i picked up mine...the moment I moved everything over to my Z, and getting in the car after signing my paperwork, and getting ready to drive off the lot....well..actually, thinking back to that moment kinda scares me a bit since the salesman parked my car on a slop and if he wasn't there to bang on my window "NO", i would driven my car off of a flat surface and incline...whew, that woulda sucked bad....haha....but anyway, you'll love the car man....i put over 200 miles on my car that first nite...

i went to go check on it at the dealership today and i know i won't be able to sleep tonight. i have dreamed about this car for such a long time and have worked really hard for it too, and now i will finally have the car of my dreams! i'm gonig to be at the dealership to pick up my car as soon as they turn the locks on the front door. btw, the dealership also has a red ford gt that i will try to snap some pics of. that thing is the hotness.

Good luck in your new car. You will be flyin high for weeks to come. The nismo exhaust is sick too. I have pictures of my brother in law's red and silver ford gt's if you want to see them, along with the 06 blue viper he just bought.

today was one of the greatest days of my life. i picked her up at about 4:30pm and didnt stop driving until about midnight. WOW!! all i can say is i love everything about this car, the way it looks, the way it sounds, the way it shifts, the handling, the acceleration,EVERYTHING! i truly love this car and cant wait to drive it more. i had to pinch myself when i got in before i drove her off the lot because i never thought i would really have one. but now i do and i couldnt be happier.

btw, i forgot to add that in addition to the nismo wheels, intake, exhaust, floormats, shifter, and seatbelt pads, the previous owner also "installed" the nismo fuel filler cap, radiator cap, and oil cap, that was a pleasent suprise.

i will try to get some pics of her up by tomorrow night after i get her cleaned up.

Dang sexy !!!

I was the same way for a year driving my '84 300ZXT knowing how bady I wanted to a new 350Z when they came out.

I think I put on 350 miles the first day I owned my 350Z and slept in the garage with her that night. Lol !!!

I still have to look in on her at nights sometimes just to make sure she is really there and that everything is alright.

hey nightrida, i see you're from savannah, pm me if you want to meet up.
i dont think he'd even race me, i think he most likely knows the limits of his car. anyways, street racing is for chumps, best to keep it on the track or just auto-x instead, imho. no need to risk losing my baby (the car) or my license.
