I need to stay away from the lots!
Once again I'm at the point of indecision as far as color choice goes
Next week my order will be placed to NNA and I was all set, or so I thought, on Redline. I happened to be out today and stopped by Atlantic Nissan to see a whopping 35 Z's on the lot. The one and only Z they had detailed, washed up so nice and clean, was sitting up by the front door and it's a color that I really hadn't given much thought to, until today. Silverstone....what a classy color! This is SUCH a nice color for the Z.
What to do?!?!

Two points:
(1) Usually your first choice is the one that you will be happiest with over time. Many people struggled over which color to buy, ordered one, maybe even changed their order. There was a reason why you first went with red. You need to figure out why you initially went with red. I thought about red, but I'd had several red cars & motorcycles already. Plus, the tail lights just blend in with the overall car color. With other colors the tail lights accent the body lines and provide a 2-color look. Therefore, I went with CS (my initial choice), but almost switched to SS after I placed my order. SS was my 2nd choice.
(2) There is a reason that a lot of people pick CS & SS: The colors are timeless, attractive to almost everyone, and undated. If you want to stick out - to both the general population and to the police - get a loud or not-so-common color. If you want your car to be attractive to almost everyone - with resale value to almost everyone - get CS or SS.
Good luck on your choice.

Same as WayneTN... the color pinwheel dilemma:
My color choice started with SS.. then saw the DB pix and thought that would be the one -- then the red pix came out, and thought that looks just perfect. Then I saw them in person... and thought about what I really wanted... back to SS (I love silver colors and don't care how many there are on the road).
I would have been happy with either SS or CS.... but SS won out because of the contrasting silvers on the car.

Go check their online inventory for yourself......it actually only reflects 30 out of the 35.

Well, I did it! I changed my order from Redline to Silverstone. I know that there are a lot more SS out there than Redline's, but I feel I'll be much happier in the long run with this color!
Can't wait to get it!

I'm down between chrome silver and daytona blue...and I need to decide quickly even tho mine is ordered I can still pick the final color this week.
Silverstone over redline anyday! But my last car was red, my current car (3000GT going to wife) is red, and my VFR (bike) is red. Sick of red.
In the Puget Sound area they lots are empty. I had to drive up to Auburn just to look at a black one (they had 2), and my dealer just got a chrome silver yesterday (they only have 1).

Call me... your going to regret the change, as other member will tell you, your first choice if going to be your best choice...
Redline vs silverstone.. both great colors...
Call me Today so i can hear it for my self before i change your order...
STAY AWAY from the LOTS....
I can not believe Atlantic Nissan is sitting on 35 Z's..... SAD they could not sell the one's they have, and they tried to BS the customers into paying over MSRP so often no one wants to buy from them....
GIVE me the Z's Nissan... 71 written, 47 delivered....# 1 in the USA
