Default help!

Help, I finally received my 350 touring. Power, heated seats. After driving 200km, my back is killing me. I never had this problem in my 1996 bmw 318. this is so depressing. I have access to my old car and am thinking of possibly shimming the seat to the 318 specs. Other than this , and the firmer ride I have no other complaints. I love the looks and the power of this car , and would love to keep it. Has anyone else had this complaint?

Some have complained that the lumbar support is not enough. Assuming that is your problem, for long trips you may need to get a small pillow or roll up a towel to put behind your lower back. I did that on a 2-1/2 week summer vacation covering 5,400 miles (in another vehicle) and didn't have the first problem. Of course, all backs are different!

Good luck (and welcome to the forum).

I am now 41, but have had problems with my back since I was 24. Sitting position has always been important to me. I cannot drive a corvette for the same reason. But I never had a problem in my bmw 318is, even after a 5 hour drive. I hope I can find a solution. I have already tried apillow behind my back, may be a little better, but not comfortable. Thanks for all replies.
