I have yet to receive my DB 6MT Performance, so naturally I sit here and think about it more than I should. I listened to the sound system in a performance model and a touring model, and the different didn't appear to be that great (although the bass in the Bose system was much more pronounced). To those who have had their car a while with the factory system: how is it?

I asked my dealer if I could get the Bose as a separate option, but he indicated that I could not. Is he correct?

yeah cant get it from the factory. many people are removing their touring system tho, you could buy it off them, but it would be a waste, for a little more you could get an even better system.

I knew the bose would not be acceptable so I would not buy touring. Knew I was going to change to aftermarket anyway. There are not many stock systems that are as good enough to satisfy someone who likes quality or loud sound. definitely would not buy someone else's bose. Unless you like stock sound in auto just figure on changing speakers(which can help a lot on stock system)and adding amp for volume. HU and subs as money permits and suits your taste. Enjoy the Z.
