Here is the deal, once you get a car or are set on getting you see more becuse it is something that you notice. Everyones right though there are a lot on the road, but if you feel like you have to justify yourself by the car you drive then you have more serious issues. I drive mine because I love the car and it is a sexy looking car. I LOVE it and that is all that matters. You should sell your car I think, because it is something you should not drive unless you love it.

What if you love it sooo much, you secretly resent those who don't love theirs as much?

Yanno when FF came out, you saw the value of used civics, eclipses, tegs etc go up....you dont see that many supras, rx7s, etc on the road...and if you do see them they arent all riced up. Now, i DO realize the rarity of those two cars is a lot greater now than our Z's. BUT just how many kids can seriously afford even a 25+K sports car? With insurance?? It may seem like a lot, but it isnt IMO. Maybe im wrong, but i seriously doubt our Z's will suffer that much when FF3 hits theaters. Plus like someone else said here, who cares?? Ours Z's are awesome cars, the more i see, the more i realize how many ppl truly appreciate the Z.

Default Z.......

I'm glad sum of you out there understand me. I know what I bought is an affordable sports car, thats why I bought it. I bought my 05 in late 04. Wasn't too many around. Saw sum here and there but they were usually older people. Which is cool. Cause lots of them weren't modded. But lately i've been seeing more Z's with a younger crowd. Sum being modded. Sum just with little things here and there. But you know it's bad, when 2 of the kids you hang out every day has them. The one kid had it about the same time I got it. The other just got it. Now I have another close friend that is getting one soon. Thats 4 of us that hang out almost daily with same car. Do you now see what i'm saying? Yes I see C6 around here and there. Not by young kids tho, and I wud want the Z06 tho, don't see them to often. I guess we'll have to wait and see. They cost quite a bit.

Haha oh man I feel ya. Strangers with Z are no big deal...especially when you make friends with a few enthusiasts you meet.

Having a handful of your close buds getting the same exact car is something else.

We kinda have an "unwritten pact" of not buying the same cars. It's kinda like dating your friends ex...we just don't do it, or avoid at all cost.

Hmm... I'm one of only 3 Z owners in my city of 40,000. I only see another Z every 3-6 months.

So lonely...

My friends and I do the same thing. As soon as I bought my Z, my friend automatically scratched it off his list of wanted cars even though it was #1 by far at the time for him (too bad sucka lol).

As for seeing Zs... im sure nowhere beats s cali. I made it 3/4 the way to work this morning and was surprised to realize I hadnt seen a single Z. Then I saw 4 in the last 1/4

Supras and rx7s were out of production before FF came so thats why the resale value skyrocketed. Most people who buy the Z dont really appreciate it.Most people after 2 months of owning it will stop taking care of it.Then there ready to sell it. In houston there are plenty of Zs but I hardly ever see a clean one. Most have brake dust in just the front wheels and the car has a ton of dust on the body. I have seen only 1 dirty corvette in all the time Ive been in houston.
Here's what I think about. What if the Z came in only manual transmission would they be still selling like they are. I went to Baker Jackson North over christmas to purchase a nose mask. While I was there I went looking at the 06 zs. They had about 7 and they were all Auto's. I asked the salesmen were are the 6spds and he said that the autos sell the most. I was like . What do you think?

i hope nissan has limited production of Zs, like S2k. i see less s2k than Zs on street even S2k is 3 years before Zs. autos sell the most means this car is for all kinds of people, not just enthusiasts.

That's what I pondered too.
Wonder how it would have been with no autos, no convertible variants...

The few cars that only come in manual: EVO/STi and S2000 are general driven by enthusiasts.( Based on most of my encounters)

So you potential flamers can suck it.

Well said too many get the car only to be the "in crowd" and don't know a damn thing about the history of the car and or datsun / nissan itself......sad just sad

I love to see the Z's and G's everywhere I go. It gives me ideas on what I want to do with mine to look different. I'm glad I don't have an Altima!!!!

Come on. I don't know much about the Z or its history but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate it. I take care of mine and clean it inside every day and 1 time a week outside. I have an auto not because I'm not an enthusiast but because I don't plan on going to a track, other people will be driving it and I don't like sticks. To much work. I just want to enjoy the car
