Got one last week...55 in a 40. This trick in a black civic was not letting me get in the left lane so, I goosed it and as I was passing the cop zapped me. 170 dollars and 90 day probation is what I need fo it to not show on insurance/driving record. I'll pay it gladly...today at lunch in fact. I remember getting pulled over like 4 times in my Tacoma. All 4 times they gave me a warning. Won't have that luck in the Z I guess.

COPS IN SAVANNAH ARE A BUNCH OF DICKS!
Maybe it was the owner of the speed shop that complained about his place being used as an after-hours hangout (or the trash, or the noise and so on and so on. I know, I know..'not guilty"). Not that you were doing (or ever did) anything wrong, but that parking lot is not public property, it is private property. Technically, when the store is closed so is the parking lot. I'm betting a Cop that knows the statutes could get you for trespassing if he dug down far enough. He's not far off about your innocent get-together turning into an accident site somewhere down the road. Maybe not in your crowd's case, but I guarantee you there has been more than one crash in Savannah, which BTW has some of the most congested streets I've seen, that started off with an inspired crowd-pleasing exibition of tire smoke, maximum acceleration, and speed, or a combination thereof. He'd rather chase you off than investigate the accident.

Holy ****, that's the nicest Cop story I ever heard!!

4 Times
76 in 55 (Reduced to 71)
86 in 65 (Not Reduced)
54.5 in a 35 (Not reduced, but saved me 1 pt. via not going to "55")
Illegal Passing of Bus with Flashing Lights (Reduced to Careless Driving as it was on a 5 lane highway and I really didn't know I needed to stop when he was 4 lanes on the other side of the road)

Either way, this is the 4 step plan to losing your license for 65 days and having $220 per month car insurance.

I have been pulled over more times in my beater Cavalier than in my Z. I guess I drive better in the Z... LOL, maybe it's cause Im petrafied to wreck that car and the beater I could give a crap less about.

Oh and to answer the question. Never in my Z.

First time: wreckless acceleration(didn't know that was a law, no spinning tires or anything, just took off too fast I guess?)
Second time: for taking a corner too fast, stayed in my lane, didn't slide or anything...just looked dangerous I guess.
Third time: Illegal lighting, had white neon on under the car(accident actually, on the way home from a show). After the cop realized it wasn't illegal he tried to say the blue underdash I have is illegal and that my alpine stereo is illegal because it has a screen(even if I'm not watching a movie)
Fourth time: Excessively loud stereo
Fifth time: Tail lights out, blew a fuse when I was installing my stereo in my new Z.

All in all, only been pulled once in my new Z, compared to 4 in my old Z. Guess my plan to stand out less is working.

But no tickets yet!

Fullerton police are the worst. Just remember where they hang out. Usually alot on Chapman and around CSUF.

No pullovers or tickets for 14 years; I have had my "Z" for 9 months and been stopped three times for no "mounted" frt plate -- two by state troopers and one by Fort Worth's finest but all were warnings!! Got lucky or they felt sorry for the old guy with the nice car. Oh, the state trooper as he is walking away " By the way; nice car!!"

3 times for me

1. In Arkansas doing around 70 in a 55 zone, the zone suddenly changed on the highway and i didnt notice. The cop was on the shoulder with no lights on at all, no running lights or other. I didnt think they could radar like that at night, but nevertheless I got a ticket.

2. Heading down I-44 in missouri, I noticed a set of truck headlights behind me riding my ***. I sped up to about 80 (70mph zone), he was still on my ***, so i sped up to 100mph, once i got there I thought "man if you want to go faster than this, go for it" and got out of his way. Little did I know it was a cop in a Toyota Tundra, lights on and got pulled over for a 98 in a 70.

3. Our local car club often has little "cruises" we go as a group and head down to some really nice twisty country roads and do a bit of spirited driving. Well there were 12 cars of us and we were going 70-100mph down these twisty roads that were probably 45 or 50mph zones, a cop passed us going the other way. We didnt see any lights so we kept going at the same pace. Well I guess that cop radio'd Missouri state troopers to look out for us, and we were near the Arkansas line so they also radio'd Arkansas state troopers to look out for us. We got to our destination and then we decided to take a major highway back to Springfield, MO, well only 3 mins on the highway and 2 state troopers pulled all 12 of our group over and went through all our liscenses and insurances. We all got let off, but they said that if they see us again on these country roads as a group they will hit us with large tickets.

That's stupid. Since when did traveling in groups become a crime.

Oh wise one. Please enlighten me with your advice. LOL. I'm going to be going to court soon for the same. Plus unsafe lane changing. Wish me luck. I was pulled over once by the way in my Z. I got a 90 in a 65. I was probably doing a lot more and actually had to slow down for the cop to pull me over since he was still struggling to keep up.

Funny stories. I have never been pulled over, I manage to spot cops far away enough so that I can slow down to a reasonable speed (about 5-10mph faster than surrounding traffic.) One time, however, I **** my pants. I was in the left lane doing about 95 on a 55... and out of NOWHERE, this state trooper is doing about 85 off the on-ramp and just turns straight on behind me in the left lane, all within about 10 seconds. I was like, "oh ****, i'm dead..." I pulled to the middle lane, thinking maybe he just wanted to get passed me. He pulled up next to me, and made racing gestures w/ his hands. Long story short, I ended up racing the State Trooper Camaro for about another 25 min. on the highway until I reached my exit. Unbelievable? I still can't believe it... But it was hella fun!

been pulled over twice for "getting on it" (you know, those brief moments on clear roads where you just want to stretch the Z's legs out through 3rd or 4th)

been let go both times, I consider myself a VERY lucky man

and now I am looking for tracks to go to.

Never but I've only had it a week and 2 days and I never go over 8-10 over the speed limit. Usually only 5 over.

I know my cars cool and fast so I feel no need to speed. Not with the chance of raising my insurance or killing myself or some really hot chic I wanna hook up with lol

COP: "Is this your car mate"
Me: "No I stole it"
COP: "WHAT!!!"
Me: "What?"
COP: "This is not a good time to be a smart *** mate"
Me: "Im sorry"
COP: "Why were you speeding"
Me: "Well if you had a car like this, you telling me your not gonna speed??"
COP: "If your gonna speed, take it to the track"
Me: "Wheres the track"
COP: "Oran Park"
Me: "Where's Oran Park?"
COP: "West"
Me: "Ohhhhhh Yeah, I'll make sure I do that"
COP: "Im going to let you off with a warning, although if you exceed the speed limit again, im not going to be so lienient"
Me: "Thanks Officer! I'll see you at the track"

Thats just one of the little talks i have with these sydney cops. The other day i got pulled over By a cop in an EXA .... aahahhhhhhhhhh ahahhahahahahah...
