What is the deal, does anyone else’s elbo open the damn center consol up while driving? I must bump it open about 4-5 times on my way into work every day. I’m about to just glue the damn thing shut for good.

haha well im like 5'9" so the seat isn't really far back. i could see how somebody tall with the seat all the way back would hit it. but my friends always hit the hazards when thier riding in my car

 

lol, i do occasionally, i am 'average' height though - 5'7". i tend to hit my head on the visor when entering the car though - very strange - it's coz i leave the visor down a lot. sometimes when turining vdc off/on (during rain/snow) i open the gas tank lid...then i have to pull over and close it otherwise i'll forget and stay with it open for days.

 

My elbow bumps it all the time when I'm cruising on the freeway. It'll catch me by surprise almost every time, then I look and see it's nothing but the console door.

 

Weird placement on some features in that car, I can say that much. You would think the 03 would have a 12volt power outlet somewhere other then behind you, like the 04/05's have in under where the cup holder is on the right of the radio.

my elbow lays right on it. never had it pop open though.

 

My elbow turns on the heated seats. I don't realize until I start getting hot. I like to switch on the passengers in the summer and watch em sweat.
