Installed after market stereo/navigation (avn5435). Having problems finding the Vehicle speed pulse wire. has anyone spliced on to this wire for there installs? what is the color of the wire and where can it be found?
This is on a 2006 350z touring.
p.s. install was clean, even able to keep steering wheel controls.

well for the it was the green wire that was behind the center console....center console as in not the part where you rest your arm, but behind the navi trap door/ radio.....i installed the avic-n1 myself and thats where it was...hope that helps
can you be a little more spacific, there are a lot of green ish wires? which harness is it on? Did it plug in to the old bose HU, or is it the green wire for the multi readout gauge(speed/temp/tire psi.......ect.
Is there a dash kit out for the 06's now? I am looking to get the same unit installed but have no clue which dash kit to get. I hate to change the topic of the thread but when you get a chance could you please respond. Thanks and good luck with the install.
The Wire is NOT Green,
The wire is white w/ gray loops, not to confused with the white wire w/ solid black stripe.
side note, you can ground the parking wire from the HU to Enable features that require the parking to pulled, IE playings DVDs, Entering NAV destinations ect.

From what I read, First Z is correct. If you take out your center console, behind the AC dials there is a white box. Inside that white box, there is a white wire with gray loops. That is the speed sensor.
