Default Tire Pressure Monitor Malfunction ?!?!? ---> 0 PSI

I have the TPMS on my Z, with aftermarket 19's. Have not had any problems in the past, but yesterday, the warning light goes on indicating that i have zero PSI in one of my rear tires. Not just the "--" that I know is displayed after starting the car or when using a set of wheels without the TPMS, but now one tire (and only one) shows 0 PSI. I checked the tires and all have pressure... 34+. Tried restarting the car and still shows zero.

Has anyone run into this situation before? Sounds like one of the sensors may have gone bad, but hoping that the dealer can just re-cailbrate rather than have to replace.

I have a new one in the box I'll sell you if you want it also. Back to your question. I have this happen from time to time with my sensors. It always clears up after driving the vehicle a few more miles. If I ever get the tires removed again I'm gonna have them pull the sensors. Those things are more trouble than they're worth.

My Z developed a problem with its Tire Pressure Sensor also after having a tire replaced and a flat fixed. I'm getting -- for front left, but dealer diagnostic claims there's no reading from the back left! They want to charge $140 to replace the faulty one.

I may have Firestone look at it first since they replaced the rear left tire and repaired the front left last week.
