Yea...like I sympathize with some people and ticket situations, but really, you can't with yours. Sorry.

Whatever. I had my weave on. I couldn't believe he only clocked me at 80. Zipping lane to lane doing my thing. Like an *** I didn't have my license or registration on me. But I love this car. More than my girlfriend. Women are a dime a dozen. Your first truly nice car after nearly a decade of cars a decade old plus, that wins every time.

Now I got to get out of this. I finally got 10 points off my license within the last year and my insurance is gonna shoot up a g minimum. I turn 25 in a couple weeks too, I was counting on that discount :/ F this.

If anyone would possible have any tips or a hookup w/ NYS State Troopers, I'm willing to get some mutual back scratching in effect. HELP!
Wow, you're the biggest idiot I've seen post here. Congrats.

And you ask for help? You break the law regularly, you'll pay the price. Obviously you shouldn't be driving.

With his new insurance premium ... I don't think he will be driving the Z for long!

Could be enough points to zap his lisence for a while too.

Guys,

Relax.

It was stupid which is exactly why I posted and laughed at myself about it. One has to have a sense of humor about situations. But don’t anyone on this board, especially with some of the mods people do here, act like they’ve never done an 80 in a 55 and changed a lane without signaling.

I didn’t get any reckless driving tickets just simply the 80 in a 50 and failure to signal while changing lanes.

The 10 points I had, which were for the most part not speeding related, already came off, meaning I’ve been enjoying much lower rates as of late, I’m in no danger of losing my license because of this penalty.

If my insurance goes up a lot, it goes up a lot. I’m not a child. I pay my rent, I make my living, I pay for my car. I’ll deal.

In any event, I don't need sympathy, I was just relating what happened to me in my Z. Let's not be overly critical here.

And if I do manage to get out of it? God Bless America

Kabeetz, you know what? Your right. Let me be the first to say sorry for ragging on you. I go 30 miles an hour over the speed limit in my 4X4 for that matter. I have just been lucky not to have been stopped as of yet... Although my kid is a cop so I have got out of a few tickets...

Hey man. I got busted not too long ago. I was doing 90 in a 65 and unsafe lane changes. I just went to court the other day. Your lucky you didnt do it in a 65 zone since they are double fines. Talk to the prosecutor and try to get one of the violations for unsafe operation of motor vehicle. I only got one of them knocked to that and the other knocked to 11mph less. I paid a big amount though. Thank God I'm not married yet and still single to make up for that loss. In the end what could've been a 6 point ticket came down to 2 and I can later do a defensive driving course to erase those 2 points. If you're worried about suspension of license, I would seek a lawyer since its not your first time. Some of these judges can be ruthless. Not to scare you or anything. But try to get a good lawyer for this one since it is 10 pts and not the first time. That my opinion and hope that helps. Good luck and try to take it to the track. I've slowed down a lot since that ticket. Now I'm actually getting high beamed and honked at to go faster on the right lane. Go figure. No need to impress in an already fast car, just take it to the track for the fun factor.
