Default 350z window change

Hey I need new windows for the Z i found some used 2005 windows forsale but was wonderin gif they fit 2003 the only visual differance i saw was the houseing on the 2005s are black and the 2003s are silver.

dimensions look the same. i can't see why it wouldn't fit. btw, what happened to your windows?

Wow, that's a really clever design. One cable pushes+pulls (or pulls+pushes) the window glides up or down the rails. It coils around the retractor in the middle (driven by the motor). I remember older cars having a scissor-jack mechanism instead of the cables. Naturally, they were heavier and more prone to jamming.

well my car had gotten broken into a long time ago and the body shop replaced it with none OE windows. they also charged my insurance more money that OE windows. the aftermarket ones dont fit well and they rattle alot. so im sueing the body shop for other damages including denting my car , painting my rims(huge overspray), and removing the clear off my carbon fiber hood (polishing it), they also broke both door handels and the doors occasionally get jammed on lock.

Its been around for a long time. My '92 Maxima has the same setup, except it has just one rail instead of two. I have had to replace the darn pw regulators (rails+cable) on all 4 windows.
