Default Changing Tires Question

The 350z is my first sports car so this may be a dumb question but I tried searching and I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I'm due for new tires soon and I was wondering if you can change the tires yourself? I ask this because of the tire pressure sensor. Will I need to reset it or something once I change the tires?

I plan on using the same wheels, I'll have my mechanic just switch out the tires.

If you have the skills then yes of course you can do it yourself, people do it every day for a living. How are we supposed to know what you are capable of doing?

You're right, my bad I should have mentioned that. I've done tire changes on my Honda Civic; that's about it. I'd need to learn how to use the tire machine probably though. Do I need to do anything for the TPS is really my main question..

Then ofcourse you can. You can also service your own tpms with the rebuild kits if needed.

Your tpms will be fine unless you break it removing the tire

Install tires, inflate. Simple.

Make sure you install the wheels back in their previous location. You didn't post what year and model, but on mine with pressure displays in my dash will read where the sensor was set to be at.

No reset is needed if you're not replacing the sensors. Buy the rebuild kits that have new gaskets or you run the possibility of those sensor stems leaking. We have them if needed.
