Default 2007 350z

Question...I am very close to buying a 2006 black 350Z w/ the burnt orange leather - HOWEVER...does anyone know when Nissan will replace or change the look of the current 350Z? will it be 2007, 2008?

I don't think there is a set date yet, but I think you've got a couple of years.

Buy the 06. Nothing has been forcasted regarding a change. Remember, there will always be something newer and (not necessarily) better. Do you want to drive the Z now, or 3 years from now?

They already showed the new G35 Coupe and they are showing the new G35 Sedan at the NY auto show, So I wouldnt be surprised if they announced the new 350z very soon. Most cars only have a 5 year life span before a redesign and 2007 will be 5 years for the 350z.

So my best guess is that you should be able to buy the new redesigned 2008 350z in Sept. 2007

go with 06 model personally i don't think they will change it in the next 2 year's or so. they just face-left the 06 model also they change the interior little-bit.
what i mean it not possible they will change it again maybe they will release 450Z or any thing more powerful but not changing it again.

Maybe but they just gave the G35 a face lift also and there showing the new re-designed G35 at the NY auto show... Only reason I could see them not re-designing the 350z at this time is that there is no real competition for it and sales are probably still pretty good, where as the G35 has a lot more competition from Lexus, Acura, BMW, Audi, etc...

Very close doesn't count. Driving a 350Z is more fun than waiting. Guaranteed.

Cars are like computers; always get better with time.

You can only buy the best bang for the buck at the time. You'll never have the best forever.

Look back to the old sports cars, like the Supra, RX-7, 300ZX, Camaro Z28, etc. Did it matter if you had an early model or later model? Most people can't even tell the difference. No one really cares either.

Waste your precious time "waiting" for a car? Ehhh.. You might be dead tomorrow. It can always be replaced.

This just went out to Infiniti owners this week, sounds like its the actual replacement for the G35, so it should hit show rooms not to long after the Autoshow, I would imagine around September. I would expect the Coupe to hit the shows rooms shortly after.

Infiniti invites you to the exclusive premiere of our all-new
G35 Sedan.

Only a select group of preferred owners are receiving this
invitation to join us, along with a guest, at the New York
International Auto Show on April 14 at 9:00 a.m. The
occasion: the private unveiling of our breathtakingly
redesigned and reengineered 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan. Doors
will be closed to the general public and after the preview,
you’ll be free to walk the entire exhibit hall without the
usual crowds. We look forward to the pleasure of your company
at this very special event.
