Default Sorry to ask but... Do you as a 350z Owner get tired of the Z??!?!

I have been on this forum for awhile now and my deal almost went down on the 06 enthu. I have been in the houston/dallas market for one. All the dealerships i been to have been full of Sh*t. They would BS and i really hated how i was treated there. Customer satisfaction sucked and i felt like they didnt want to sell a Z.

I really want the Z and i just want to be sure that i wont get tired of it. I have been thinking if i would be better of in the longand get a G35 coupe... Also, i am a college student....

How long have yall had your cars and are tired or still ENJOY the car????

in my opinion, the z should not be your ONLY car. im still in school and i drive the z everyday, atleast 50 miles a day, its a great car. But, sometimes you just want to "roll deep" with a bunch of friends or just have a bigger car with a little more luxury. I love the Z, but as soon as I get out of school, im going to start looking for a SUV, or nice 4 door sedan, and keep the z as my weekend toy instead of my daily. good luck with ur decision. If you already have another car, then def get the Z, but if not, then think about what ur priorities are.

Had mine for 2+ years. I still enjoy taking it out for a ride. Adding mods occasionally prolongs the life of your interest indefinately.

i have had mine for 3 months now.... i love it

but i have this problem that when i buy something, i will want something better. And I dont know why... but i want an evo..... but i loooove the Z couldnt be happier, my money way well spent. But there is a little part of me that wants an evo for some reason.

Maybe its cuase when it snows/rains im scared to drive the Z on its stock tires, while the evo has awd. I dont know about gas mileage for the Evo.

Anyways.... Get the Z you will love it. But if you want a car to mod, race, etc with i would suggest an evo... let the flaming begin!

I had a G35 sedan before my Z. Sometimes I miss the space in the G35. For some reason I like the steering wheel in the G35 so much more than the Z.

Well im not going to mod much. It will be my daily. I am driving my moms car at the moment which is a camry. I usually dont put friends in the back, moslty just a passenger.

I just dont want to end up getting tired of it and end up wanting a G35 coupe.

I already know people are goign to say "if you dont care about 2 seats get the Z, if you want more luxury and back seats get a G".

It is more of a spartan car, but it's more purist sports car than most I've seen. The only thing I wish it had sometimes is more cushy amenities like in the G35, but I have never not once gotten tired of my Z.

Take the bus to work in a bad neighborhood for a week and you will love your Z so much more.

Thumbs up

You wont get tired of it. The Z is a great car, and the feeling you'll get when driving it (both in the driving, and in the response from the drivers around u i.e. a lexus full of 5 blondes waving and blowing kisses at you) will never get old. As far as the luxury and the 4 seats goes... The Z is all the luxury u need in a sports car. If you want more luxury than that, don't buy a sports car.

I was about only having 2 seats too, before I bought my Z. Then I realized... **** my friends. No, really... You want to bring friends along on trips? Great... take their car. Why waste your gas, patience, and risk damaging ur precious interior. Lol, take their damn car... or meet them there. In my opinion, 2 seats is perfect. Room only for you and your hott (and she will be hott) girl. Adding friends in the backseat is more of a cockblock than anything else...

juliosuburban, plan on keeping your Z for another 20 years huh..? Lol... look up gas consumption rates. Gas will be gone within the next 10 years, and the little that is left will be super super expensive. As hydrogen fuel cell technology becomes the norm, dino gas will become reserved for airliners and military, and only the richest will be able to afford it. Plan on enjoying your Z for the next 10ish years... then plan on buying the all-new all-affordable Z-Hydrogen-Hybrid

There are a couple of characteristics of the 350Z that grow old. One is the sport suspension on bumpy roads. Poor roads toss the Z side to side and are uncomfortable. But overall, the alternative vehicles are lacking in other areas were the 350Z shines.

Despite a few minor annoyances, I’m keeping the Z.

i am extremely cheap. nothing bugs me more than nowing that i am burning more gas because i have some friends in the back seat. in my previous cars, while driving with passengers in the back seat, i would constantly look at the gas meter to see how much i was wasting. it's a schitty feeling. i always wanted to stop and yell "get the fock out"

How long have yall had your cars and are tired or still ENJOY the car????
The best way to keep your car feeling fresh is to not drive it daily. Living up north I only drive mine from the spring to the fall, ( I am getting antsy now)and even then, not all the time. I did this with my last summer car (90 Talon) and every spring its like experiencing it all over again. That car is still in great shape even after all these years. Now before I get flamed, to me it is a great way to enjoy a car for a very long time. The Z will last me at least as long and and I am sure it will still turn heads 15 years from now because it will still look great.

Who says you need to drive it just because you bought it? That may be great for alot of folks and I certainly understand it, but its just not me.

Buy the Z and enjoy for now, but make plans to get a daily driver. You will not regret either decision....

Peace all....

I sometimes wish I had more space to put my friends. But this can also be looked at as a safty feature. I am also a student and I know if I piled 3-4 dudes in my car, and they would all be eggin me on to go faster and faster, and more likely than not, I would. As for getting bored with the car, I seem to be droppin a whole lot more panties with this car than most, so when the driving gets slow, MOD it or pick up a few chicks, they love you long time.
