"Hello, thank you for calling Nissan Customer Support. Could I get your name and daytime phone number please?"

"Agent Scarfman here. Phone number is secret, sorry 'mam"

"I see. How can I help you today Mr. Scarfman?"

"That's 'Agent' Scarfman. I pre-ordered a 350Z back in March, and would like to know my order number, and scheduled delivery date, puleeeeeeeze"

" Please hold while I pull up that record........... I've found the your order Mr. Scarfman. Your order number is W6789xx. Scheduled delivery is for.....hmmm...odd. There is a post-it note attached to your order, which says "Agent Scarfman will receive his car 'when cows can fly'". Anything else I can do for you, Mr. Scarfman?"

"No mam. You've done plenty" (hangs up phone).

Well Z FU, it seems Agent ZISME has intercepted my Buyers Order Form, and delayed delivery of my car. I'll have to deal with this soon. But at least that phone call confirmed one thing.

All the members of My350z.com who have not received order numbers and delivery dates from their dealers, can call 1-800-Nissan1, and they will be able to get this information.

Now...what say we get outta of this sub, and see if we can't find us some food, and figure out our next step.

 

Well well..if it isn't Mr sleepyhead...Agent Scarf....good to have you back with us...by the way..everything your wife said about the noises you make in your sleep was true..no problem though..I had my ear plugs with me..and since you were in the rear seat of the sub..you stayed downwind...

Seems you have had more success than I have had obtaining your order number from NNA...I've tried to be a good boy and not call my regional office..my dealer has no info however..when I saw him last week he told me to call Friday...when I called Friday he told me to call next Friday..I sense a pattern...I did e-mail customer service and asked for my numbers..I'll give them a couple more days to answer...

BTW...Are you sure they didn't trace the call?

I'm hungry too..I found a great little Pizza place when I was here in '98...I'll make contact with my friend Hi and she will be able to give us shelter for the night...let's get this sub on shore and out of sight

(side bar: Even though ZISME is an NNA Secret Agent, while Z FU and I are my350z.com Agents, ZISME is actually a double-agent. Yes, this espionage game is a topsy/turvy confusing mess sometimes. ZISME bounces back and forth between spy groups, giving us secret info, but also reporting back to NNA our actions. We have to walk a fine line with this type of Agent)

Dang! The call got dropped Z FU. Just as he was about to give us some real good info. Since we still have daylight left, lets hail a rickshaw, and do some sluething at Oppama.

 

Narrators question: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they have Rickshaws in Japan. Isn't that China? I hope you guys didn't take a wrong turn somewhere!

(While Agents Scarfman and Z FU sleep, now would be a good time for the 3 people - DrBonz and I think 2 others - that are following this saga to make yourselves known. After reading and receiving pleas from honorable members of this board to somehow help Scarfman --- so that he can make it to his appointed destiny at the Nissan factor located at Oppama... located south of Yokohama... along the coast...

Hmmmmmmmmmmm..... I call a few yakuza friends ( like in the movie Black Rain ) --- and they call in their chits and IOU's with friends in the Roppongi area of Tokyo where Scarfman is staying.

After he wakes up ( he was wide awake before -- but Hi from the bar put the ZZZ's back into him).... a chauffeur-driven Nissan President shows up at his very seedy hotel -- to drive him to the Nissan factory.

Scarfman smells like hell from a week on the ocean... and booze from the previous night. His yakuza escorts throw him into a cold shower -- and then dress him in a newly-bought suit from Paul Stuart... conservative -- for his drive down to the origins and now makers of the new Z.

 

The yakuza pickup crew has now been alerted that there one more person at the hotel that must be taken to the factory...
Z FU -- they will check the tattoo on Scarfman for ID.... warning: be careful -- they may understand what the tattoo means.

 

Actually, it is easy to compute this mathematically. There have been 38 posts so far, of which approximately 30 have been from Scaf and Zound. There have been 1320 views so far, so at first glance it would appear that there have 1290 views of this thread which would appear to make it of interest. Of course, we must deduct the fact that Scaf and Zound each view this thread 42 times for each time they post to reenjoy their witty posts. So 30*42=1260 and there have only been 30 other people reading. Plus Dr Bonz has hit this thread by mistake 27 times while trying to reach his ZAINO experiment thread, so 3 other people have viewed this thread. I came here by accident for this post, so that leaves 2 other people, but I am SURE they REALLY enjoy it. J/K. I've been waiting all weekend to find out what's gonna happen at the plant.
