Default Airbag light on... question help.

well, about a week ago I swapped out my seats for some black ones, Love the swapped..i posted it pictures and yeah enjoy go search for it. anyways, now this is the problem i have, after swappin out the seats, i have AIRBAG on my Touring seats and the seats i swapped out didnt have that option, so my airbag light came on, it doesnt really bug me, but it just flashes like a seat belt light. I dont wear seat belt much..i kno very bad..so im use to seein that red light. but my question is: Is there any thing I can do to turn off that light. I ask the dealer, the dealer said there is no CAP, to cap off the "YELLOW clip" airbag sensor. What i would need to do is RE-wire the airbag to a CLOSED circuit, because its reading a Opened Circuit so even if i turn off the light, it will turn right back on. I was wondering has anybody done this procedure and maybe help me out with this. a wiring diagram or instructions about how to wire it so it will become a close circuit instead of open and i can just bring it back and they will turn off the light for me. THANKS a MILLION! every little thing will help if you know!

Actually there is a procedure you can follow to reset the light, just need to search for it. One question though, how do you know that the airbags you didn't remove are functioning properly?

i think hes saying that how do u know for sure that the new seats you put in are working correctly. maybe the NEW seats you put in have something wrong with them....(defective airbags...) but im guessing its just a sensor you have to reset

I dont have airbags in the new seats...I have airbags on my old seats...so right now its just leaving a yellow cap unplug hangin around...my new seats didnt have airbag options...but my old frost seats did have side airbag option..so after i plug in everything i Still have a YELLOW cap (airbag) clip that is loose hangin around...i hope this clear things up..
