Default hi-lo conveter

I just put a system in my car, and all the wires are hooked up right, and i put the hi/lo converter to a speaker, and it didnt work, so i moved on and tryed to put it to the sub, and it still didnt work, I dont get what the heck is up because its not getting any signal in the RCAs from the speakers

any idea whats up?

What's up is that this is in the wrong section.

My Hi-Lo converter went to the amp. The amp handled the rest.

I had a hi-lo converter because I used the stock HU. When I changed the HU out I took the Hi-Lo off because it is not necessary. I could be wrong though.

ya i have the stock headunit too, and the problem is im not getting any signal from the speakers to the hi/lo converter
