Hmmm.

Having a little trouble deciding between a 350z and a c6. Great cars both. Leaning toward the c6 for the extra oomph and size - but the c6 has roll bars and a cooler dash set up.

Any thoughts?

i will never buy a GM again, but unless the 350z is fully built with a nice TT reaching 600whp, with a 6 year bumper to bumper warranty, i have to give my nod to the C6

 

The choice is absurd. The new Corvette is what? $20,000 more than the 350Z?

Its not even a question, as much as I love the Z a C6 is superior in almost every category. Its kind of an apples to oranges comparison though.

You can pick up a nice used C6 for around low $40k.....I'm thinking about doing this myself.

why not? he's asking us our opinion on it. yes theyre different cars, but he's thinkin about gettin one or the other. so they're being compared

Actucally you can buy a base c6 for a little over40k with propper discounts, and a track Z is 35k but over all C6 all day... but if you buy a Z put 20k into it you will kil new Z06's the choice is yours you have have a fully done up Z still cheaper than the new z06 and you will kill it.

You can't touch a Z06 with ~$40k range even after 1 year. As D350Z10 says, a base C6 is within the range if anyone is comparing with a new Track Z.

 

Buy the C6. I have a Z and my Dad has a new C6. That car is very well designed. However, if you are going to drive it every day, get the Z. The only reason is you will probably lose your liscence after the 1st 6 months owning the C6 because all you want to do with that car is keep the pedal on the floor. Seriously, you can't go slow in that car, its just too much fun not to. If you haven't driven the C6 yet, go drive one and then drive the Z. If I could afford the insurance on the C6 I would have one for sure. But I can't so I just steal my dad's ALL the time.

 

The c6 is nice, but I like the Z better. Personally I'd get the Z.
