So, I finally found my car its about 300 miles away and hopefully I'm picking it up tomorrow. Any suggestions on how I should drive it on the way back? I've heard people saying that its bad for the car during break-in to keep the speeds the same for a long distance, I.E. highway driving..
So what do you guys think? how should I drive it?

My drive home was 1440 miles.
Vary your speed by 10 mph every 15 or 20 minutes, and also switc between 5th and 6th gear about as often. You should be fine.

 

I keept it under 4000 rpms, cruised down the turnpike. Traffic made me change gears and downshift regularly.

No problems.

 

I drove about150 miles to the dealer where I bought my car. Definitley do what everyone has suggested and fight the urge to "see what it can do".
