Title says it all. Only it was THREE TIMES tonight, during the 20 minute drive in either direction to and from my office. God forbid i dare to drive my Z on a saturday night without every 19 year old punk who's put an aftermarket exhaust, some "Joe's Wheel Deals" chrome rims, and 20 stickers advertising manufacturers whose parts aren't even in his car pulling up next to me with his jacka$$ buddy hanging out the window, flailing his arms and trying to convince me to race for 5 minutes before speeding ahead triumphantly as though he'd proven something.
My favorite tonight was the early 90's model buick P.O.S. with the cheap tint and those tiny, wide rims that stick out six inches past the fender. That dude was so insistent on racing that i'm just happy he didn't cause an accident in the process of trying to get my attention. Hey, buddy, want to work on your driving skills? Before you get into the underground racing scene, better practice things like being able to keep your car in your own lane while looking sideways at people who want nothing to do with you. Don't suppose they covered that in "Need For Speed", huh?
