Default Paint overspray under car normal?

Hi....searched but saw no reference....

Looking at a 2004 Z in blue. I see just a slight blue overspray on the chassis underneath behind the sideskirts (below doors) on both sides. Is this normal?

Thanks in advanace for any info......Jay

I believe so.It was most likely due to when it was painted at the factory.

If there is any overspray on the labels on the door jams then it might have been repainted.

Just went outside and looked under my roadster and I don't have any overspray. Are the sideskirts aftermarket? maybe the bodyshop painted them while they were on the car? Either that or the car has been in a accident of some sort and the bodyshop did not do a good job of masking off the bottom of the car from overspray <shrug>
