ill never forget pulling into my girlfriends school parking lot and there were a couple of girls sitting outside all staring as i rolled up and they were all talking and i pulled right up next to em where my gf was and she was in the group and she didnt come over for a sec cuz they were all like dammmmmnnn!!!! look at that sexy *** car!!! and they were all pointing and giggling then they were like whoevers bf has that car is one lucky girl and on that note my girl got up and walked over to me hopped in and kissed me then waved bye and blew a kiss to all her friends it was a great feeling

 

Damn!!! gives me a goose bump..hehe

this morning I was in a barber shop and some guy came in with his little kid and sat down for a few minutes and finally said who's z? I raised my hand and he goes, that things awesome man the wheels make that car, I wish I could have a car like that

although my response every day... .sorry girls... no back seats! :P

 

My best compliment involves a 5 y/o kid. I was driving through my neighborhood and this kid was watching me as I drove by. He was looking at me with his head pointed in my direction and eye's scrinting. As a drove by him I was wondering what was the problem, then as passed him, he gave me the biggest smile and thumbs up. I thought that was kool!

 

when i drive by crowds of people i have people doing 180s, 360s, and breaking necks

 

Pizza delivery dude walks past my Z on the way to the front door and says, Damn that car is fine, how much did that run you, $60K? I just smiled as I paid for the pizza and said not quite, but thanks.

 

A few days ago had to borrow my dads 4Runner to bring all of my stuff back to school after the break. When I was going back home to get the Z I stopped and picked up a friend from work to take her to lunch. She walked out and asked me where my car was. I told her I hadn't picked it up and she was like, well hell, I wanted you to take me out in it.

Same day, on my way back to school after picking up the Z I pull off the interstate to take on some fuel. As I am going from the off ramp to the main drag, a firetruck slows down and starts honking. At first I didn't know what was going on and then I hear it again and see him pointing to me so I give him a courtsey honk and drive on.

G35 driver: What much have you invested in mods to your 350Z? It seems much faster than my G35!
Me: It only has a JWT POP charger
G35 driver: What about the suspension? It is so flat!

i get a lot of 'how often do you wax your car?' and 'how long does it take you to wax' and 'damn what wax do you use??'........it's nice n shiny, even when it's dirty LOL

 

the ever so often "woooohoooo ow ow ow!" from a carfull of HS or college girls is the most common. what can i say...i have spikey hair and i got the redline z. guess i was askin for it

 

umm what's the spiky hair have to do with it, exactly? unless it's attached to a sexy head and body..

 

I drove into the city one night after getting my car. I was stopped at a light and some girls who looked like they were heading to a club, blew kisses my way as they crossed the street.
Now that I think about it they probably thought I was some weirdo, coz I did a double-take and had a confused look on my face. I hadn't gotten used to owning a sexy car yet

 

I only had her for about 800 miles, this one time at a gas station I parked next to an older guy driving the new Mustang GT, the convo went something like this:

me: Nice car!
him: Not as nice yours.

Then he drove off.

 

Theres the ladies compliments, then theres the little kids, and ofcourse the guys who drive porsches. But I would have to say best compliment was def. when I was a senior in college. As many of you know, living in a busy city or a tourist area, there are naturally going to be expensive sports cars. I live in Daytona Beach (pretty much a city based on cars and bikes). I worked at Best Buy at the time and my GM had a new Mercedes S-Class which he constantly talked about. Told him I would buy a Z when I graduated college when I first started working there. One day I roll up and park next to his car. We leave work and hes smokin next to his car with his gf, and I hear her say "You should trade yours in and buy that red car" and he goes "yeah thats a gorgeous car" and I walk up to him and said "C ya tomorrow man" and drove away. The look on his face was priceless.

 

I am an almost 70 year old with a 2006 350Z who lives in Tucson and belongs to a toy train museum. Lest you start making smart remarks, one of our members is 85 and bought a new 2005 Mustang V6. He and an auto star struck 14 year old neighborhood kid who worships Vipers inspired me to start thinking young and I have not regretted it since. A few weeks after I got the Z he came in one night and asked me "Did you drive your bullet here tonight?" Need I say more?
