What's the best compliment you have gotten?
I don't like sharing financial information with strangers, or generally bringing in money in to conversations because all it does is ruin the atmosphere and creates tension.
All I have to say is that I worked my *** off to buy my Z and I had planned for quiet a while, the only help i get is insurance, and that's until I move out to college.

Good for you guy. I don't need any financials, just glad you did it on your own and therefore appreciate it that much more. There are a lot of beat up Z's out there because kids got them for free. Look at the beat up Supra because of the little Hulkster.

So I'm waiting a few cars back at a light with my windows down. A group of 13-14 year olds start to jay walk behind me. I hear, "Oh man... that's the car that soandso wants... it's an HR..." Then one of them comes around to my window, "Oh dog, your gas cap is open."
FAIL
I must've hit the gas cap button when fumbling for the hood release latch earlier in the day. Whoops.

Today, on the way home, a hot blonde waves at me as I pass on the right hand side. She was the passenger. Not sure who the guy was that was driving. HA!!! I suppose that would be a compliment.
An elementary kid was riding bike with his dad and he was walking. I saw the kid pointing to my car and said, "Bumblebee... BUMBLEBEE." His dad himself driving a Nissan Titan sheepishly looks away. I think the kid might of gotten confused my Z with the Transformer Camaro, but at least he ain't colorblind.
I got a good compliment, but it ended pretty bad.
This lady walked up to me and commented on how beautiful and gorgeous my the car is.......and comments on how fast this car is etc etc
Then she ends it by saying "I can't ever get the altima.....I'll kill myself in it"
She thought my Z was a altima coupe D'OH!!

Haha.. You know, funniest things.. But, this actually happened to me in Jersey. But, I was driving looking at an SRT-10. Omgosh, I was soo embarrased. (sp?)
But, the compliment thing.. Everyday. Doesn't matter, from little kids saying mom.. "I love that car." To, 60 Y/O Males asking me if my mom bought it. To my buddies asking how much sex I get... Blah, Blah. Shhmma-Shhmma.
Got this one last week...first person to compliment my drop that wasnt at a Z meet.
"Damn, thats slammed...nicceee."
I have close to a 2" drop all around but apparently to this guy it looked crazy low, well slammed...I thought it was pretty cool that he thought that.

This past saturday at a gas station a dude was walking by my car with his family as I was checking the air in my tires. He says to me, "this thing is awesome!" I smiled and said thanks, then chuckled as he got into the driver's seat of his Honda Odyssey

"Dude, 350's are crap. I'd take my tC any day. It's way fast."
