Please tell me some **** monger didn't actually say that...

 

my first compliment was when i was test driving my 350, i was at a red light and looked to my left at the turning lane i could read the girls lips " WOW THAT A BEAUTIFUL CAR" i drove staight back to the dealer and signed the papers. the compliments have never stopped

 

At a gas station. My car was doing that "stop trying to put gas in me, I'm going to keep shutting off the pump" thing and I had no choice but to talk to the attendant (you can't pump your own gas in Oregon). He asked me why I would buy a Japanese car. I asked what he drove and he said Scion. My brain imploded from the sheer ignorance of his statement and I couldn't respond. I just stared at him and drooled until he finished filling my tank.

He didn't close my gas cap cover either. I think it was on purpose.

 

I get this often.

 

 

1st day having my car i was on a main street where there a alott of store ... i pretty busi street called bergenline ave. in jerzi ... i was stopped at a light and an older lady in an 06 benz struggles to pull next to me n compliment me on my car in front of alot of ppl and her explainin dat shes dying to turn her benz for a 350z

2 black guys came up to me as i was getting in the car, one was like:
1st guy - what the *** is that **** i mean i seen a 350z before but a nismo? that **** is dope as ***.
other guy - yeah that **** is sick dog
me - (smiles)

I was driving down the street in my black nismo and a kid turns to his mom and says

"Mom looks its the Batmobile!"

I actually find it really awkward when you are stopped at a light and the people crossing infront of you are blatently staring at your car. I always just pretend to play with the radio or something.

 

What the **** did you just say?

 

i have got compliments while parked nexted to porsche's, bmws, and mercedes. and I'm talking like m3's 911's etc. the Z stands out but honestly I wish i had a e92 m3 or carrera s

 

what's also funny is that people think the Z is faster than what it really is lol. for the people that don't know anything about cars they think my Z can beat anything............thats when i stand there and keep my mouth shut lol.

 

I do the same thing. Or pick up my phone and make it look like I'm doing something. This prevents me from staring back at them and causing an awkward moment.

 

My dad has an E92 M3 and it doesn't get as many looks as the Nismo. I think because it doesn't have any crazy wings or splitters on it.

Only real car entusiasts really snap their neck because normal people just think its just another BMW with different wheels, with a giant inside out dent in the hood.

They did an experiement on Fifth Gear or Top Gear a while ago and they placed a Mercedies SLR, Rolls Royce (I think) and a Lambo on the same street for an hour each, and the Lambo which cost about $200,000 less than the other 2 got by far the most looks just because its so radical looking.

I was at a party with a buddy we each picked up on some girls so as where walking out (i parked right in front and everybody was just about gone) she walks up to my car(not knowing it was miine) and shes like this is my car. and i unlock it shes like this is yours? i reply it gets me from A to B.

I do the same thing though..Its weird to have people looking at you at stop lights..so I just change my music or pretend Im looking for something.
