Driving home, I'm stopped at a stop light and a Scion Fr-S going onto the on ramp revs his engine to get my attention and gives me a thumbs up
So of course I rev it back to him and give him a thumbs up as well
Given that I've only had this car a few days. I couldn't get the damn grin off my face driving back home.

Oh and I couldn't forget this compliment

My friends first time ever seeing my car

Him: "Wow, you're gonna need to get flood insurance."
Me: "Huh? Why, it barely rains where we live."
Him: "Because you're gonna make all the b***hes wet!"
HAHAHA

 

sheesh...... why do all noobs think this car is a panty wetter / dropper?

It's only other guys that think it is. Girls really don't care unless they are hookers or actually likes cars too. But to be honest, I've gotten more compliments on my Z from girls than I had from my M3 and just about the same as my DB9. I guess it's the shape that everyone likes about it. My girlfriend said it has a cute face and it's small and petite with a nice shape and doesn't look mean and angry like the BMW. I guess a car with an almost human like happy expression and a nice body shape is cute to them.

I guess that's why a lot of them like this car too.

 

Because we all know it is duh... lol

Best compliment was at a gas station recently "What a great looking car, what is it ? I was hoping you would need gas this thing looks absolutely awesome and sounds great."

I'm like yeah 93 please...jkjk it's still pretty neat how people are still intrigued by these cars after all these years as much as I am.

Weirdest compliment was from my just recent ex "You promise you can't let another girl sit in that car...omg their going to be all over you with that car."

Now I'm scared^^ lol

My best compliment didn't involve any words. On 2 separate occasions that I know of; first was 2 girls taking a selfie with my car at a bar, and second was when I was at work I check on my car a lot since I park in front of the garage door of the shop, I saw a group of 4 girls taking multiple pictures with my car and as my coworker pulled out his phone to snap pictures of them they got scared and walked away.

Actually, my best compliment was when I was driving by an elementary school during pick up hour and had a couple of kids run after my car as I passed by screaming something I couldn't quite hear.

 

A lil girl yelled out "It's dad's dream car" when I drove by

 

lmfao I dont even think Ferraris and Lambos get this kind of attention. Also, who drives around with Post It notes?

Tonight probaly was my best ever. Some mid-age gentleman walked out of his new GMC truck and said, "nice car," not once but four times. All I could say was "Thank You, Happy Holidays!!!" and smile. If it wasn't a holiday, I wouldn't know what to to say. My 10 year old car is not daily driven and is a 1 year color availability which helps, as well as having a set of staggered wheels with correct offsets. I may not want the new Nismo 370z which I've been thinking about.

 

Just the other day an extremely social guy caught me at a gas station and was saying a bunch of stuff. Some of the stuff he said:

"That's a fine looking car" (he was old)
"It's funny how we choose cars that look like ourselves" (he was skinny and old and driving a 3 series from the 90s)

And this is not a compliment, but I live in Canada, and good god I lost count how many times I've heard

"Do you drive it in the winter?"

yes... yes I do drive it in the winter

 

Aww, that's cute. Another good compliment is simply the looks people give you, especially when you are "young" (I'm 25). Little do they know I got the car for under 15k.

 

About 8 years ago I became a "sugar daddy" to this young girl in college. Since it lasted for 2 & 1/2 years, I pretty much help pay her way through school.

Anyway one day we got drunk on my house deck and she told me, "I shouldn't tell you this Andre but you give the best head I've ever had, it's not even close".

True story..............
