Yadoh? What was the sense in that message?
jdmstylej6, I can't believe the amount of looks, compliments that I get over this car. No BS here on anything I have written. Even the guys in the parking garage tell me that they always watch out for my car and were bugging me when the snow was melting asking when it was coming out again.

I always get the thumbs up, probably a few times out the week. My favorite are when little kids point and say "nice car." I just know they are going to grow up to be little ricers.

somewhere in this thread is a picture of the panties I have found in my Z. I just can't leave the windows down if I'm not standing right by the car.

Over the holiday I stopped at an IHOP for breakfast in Binghamton, NY. As I was scoping the parking lot for a safe spot to park, two people coming out of the restaurant approached. One of them gave me a thumbs up and said, "Nice car!"

I then discovered a parking space right at the front door of all places and took it. From the booth I sat in I was able to eat breakfast and keep an eye on my car. Much to my surprise, a couple of people got out their camera phones and took pictures.

Always nice to get compliments like that. My car is just over 3 years old and still looks like I just bought it.

I asked my boss for a raise.

He said "Look at the car you drive and look at the car i drive. I need the raise not you."

"the most beautiful car I've ever seen."

"awfully nice car"

My favorite was when I was at a light...Kid looked over and said, 5 speed or auto?
I said 6 spd. bout 300 horse. His eyes lit up and about fell out of his head. Then said nice ride.

All that in only 1000 miles of driving in two months. Can't wait til I start changing the car up.

Seriously though, the best is driving by the hood and all the little kids tugging on their moms' shirt and pointing at my car.

Kids show more love than anyone.

funny, I drove a 68 Camaro through my high school years and I never attention whored with it / rev'ed all over the place. Got a lot of love and attention either way with it. Don't be a douche, it'll get you further.

Don't wreck it either.

If all the kid is doing is revving the engine, can any of us blame him? I'm sure that once he has had it for a while he will calm down, but young guy, new car...high school. He is revving the engine, not roasting his tires, or drifting it in the parking lot. This was the first day he drove his car to school he says.
So he is excited. I remember the first week I had mine. He reminded me of it.
Entaille I think you are being a little harsh.
Look at his last line.
"Love having this z".
Right on NismoZZ.
Be aware that the more you show it off though the more attention you will get, and the more chance some a$$ will scratch it or something worse just to take away your smile.
Be responsible, but enjoy it. I like the sound of my engine too. Every time I go through an underpass I roll down the window and drop down a gear.
Welcome to the club.
This forum is to talk about the compliments you get.
That is what you did.
Man, we are supposed to be welcoming people to a site. Not giving them $hit on their 7th post so they go elsewhere.

the looks and the sound of normally driving the Z will get him the same amount of attention, in a more positive light. I wasn't being harsh, I was being real. I actually restrained a bit in that post since he seemed like an alright guy. you're right in saying that at least he wasn't burning out and drifting.

I would be thrilled to have a Z in high school too, but he needs a reality check, so hopefully less people are bitter towards him as they climb into their hooptys.

This one time at band camp there was this cop at the red light next to me and he told me to roll down my window and pulled up next to me and then he said NICE CAR kid, you be careful, and this othertime there was these to chicks and they wanted to make sexy time with BIG OL GREDDY350Z bcause of the Z. It usually happens 2-3 times a day i get hit on then 1-4 times for the Z it just is random. =)
