kinda ****ed up way to complement me but i thought it was funny, im with all my friends at hooters, and where out in the parking lot, they are having a smoke im the only dude that does not smoke and one of my friend's gf comes up to me "wow your car is really nice" me "oh thanks hah its definitely nicer than my other cars i've had huh" her "yeah it is, too bad *boyfriend's name* wont ever have a nice car like yours" i couldn't help but to smile and think of atleast 5 ways to hit back on her but simply replied "haha wow that is harsh no faith in him i see..." and changed the subject

This was back in 2003 i was on my way home from work...i was ripping it up a hill when I got a light..keep in mind in 03 these cars were rare and resembled exotics back then...there was nothing like it on the road unless you had a P car...anyways...I pull up at the light the car is squeaky clean and i have my 20's on them...anyways some hot cougar in a 67 Camaro is at the light.

Word for word-

Beautiful car there you have..what like 100K?Swear to god..that made my day....I told her no 50K..she smiled and off I went..she was smoking.

 

Actually I had a Vette ..07 C6....and no I do not wish...i would take a nicely done up 350Z or 370Z over a C6 anyday...a C6 Z06 well thats a different story...couple of nice bolt ons and you would be able to keep up with a C6 anyday.

 

Ok so I was driving home from work one day.. tired and depressed (thats what my job does to me). I look to the side of the road and there are a few chics walking and all of a sudden.. one turns around and flashes me =) ... definitely woke me up and made my day lol

 

An elderly couple walks around my neighborhood and when I first got the car (03 Brickyard) he said, "Wow, thats some car. My nephew just bought one, but its not that new.."
A few weeks later they walked passed me again after i had just waxed it. He said, "You sure do keep it clean." and then his wife after a few seconds of staring said, "Oh my, it looks like the Devil."
I was flattered.

 

I was in Dunkin Donuts getting my coffee, when this lady comes in and asks me if that's my red sports car outside. I said it was. She then goes on and on about how much she likes it, and how gorgeous it is.

Then just the other week, I was at Starbucks, when this 16-17 yo kid asks me if that's my Z out there, and tells me that he loves Z's. We talked about cars for a little while I waited for my coffee.

 

Nothing big I live in Cali so this is just a average car, but one day I was driving to school and a 19-20 year old girl just screamed out "I LOVE YOUR CAR" while I pasted her. I just laughed

Also yesterday after I finished school me and some girl I knew in HS got done with class and she didn't have her car. So I just took her home, the reaction on her face when she saw my car PRICELESS. All she said she wanted to do was roll down the window so people can see her. I'm 19 shes 18 but her mind is like a 12 year old.

 

raced a 335i on the highway and pulled him he rolled down his window afterwards and was like "that things fast man good ****" and then last night i was super happy when someone said "i normally dont like z's but yours is nice, its sitting on the ground" the sitting on the ground part was the best compliment, im glad people notice im lowww

you would think that after 7 years i would get tired of driving my black z. Driving slow gets more attention and looks then i would ever have imagined....i just recently put 19" g35 powder coated black on it along with window tint and headlite eyebrows.....i pulled into a dairy queen yesterday and the kids came running out to look at the car and were blown away......THANK YOU NISSAN.......snort....im 70 years old and still a freekin child.......lol......my borla cats give out a great sound.....i would love to see somebody make big quads and a great bumper to accomodate them.....

 

The first morning with my 2003 350z a woman actually asked me to take a picture with her next to it so she can tell her friends it was hers..lol

Good to see another old guy having fun with his Z. I'm 71 and have had my Z for 7 years too. I beat the crap out of it and it keeps on ticking.

 

I don't know if you'd really call this a "compliment," but I had an interesting encounter the other week while I was putting gas into my car at a Chevron station. A guy wearing a flat-brimmed baseball cap and a track suit walked out of the mini-mart with a girl who looked kind of like Amy Smart and the following conversation ensued:

Him: That's a beautiful Porsche, dude!
Me: Thanks, but it's not a Porsche.
Him: Yeah, it's a Porsche Carrera.
Me: No, it's a Nissan 350Z.
Girl: See? I TOLD you it was a Z!
Him: Shut the F--- up B---- and get in the F---ing car.
Me: Woah.
Him: Well, it's beautiful, whatever the F--- it is.
Me: Thanks.

 

I c u race it at the strip once in awhile......brings back memories.......raced at pomona and ontario in the early 70s....held an NHRA et record in a 68 cobra jet......all when i was young n poor n happy...lol
