Why not get a REAL BBK?

I owned my 350z since January, and have gotten a few stares from drivers every so often.

I was parking at the library yesterday and this older couple was staring at my car for a long time, to the point where it was getting suspicious. Once inside, this guy walks up to me and said "Wow, what car is THAT? Me and my wife were trying to figure out the make and model but couldn't find it on the car". Then I told him I recently repainted my car (and debadged every emblem) and that the car was a Nissan 350z. Then he says "Wow, it's beautiful, it even looks better than a Porsche!!"

Then later while parked outside my friend's neighborhood, this construction worker walks up and says "IS IT FAST?! I bet you must get the ladies with that bad boy. But first, you gotta clean your wheels!"

 

Wise words from a decent man.

What other brand of car does your guys' 350Z get mistaked most for?

Porsche?


I don't have the nissan emblem on the rear or the 350z one so people can't tell right off the bat. I have the emblem on the front bumper and in the middle of the wheels it says Nissan but yeah..

 

When my dad first bought the car he use to work part time at footballs and i used to go with him this older man kept walkin past me why i was sitting in the car in he decided that he wanted to see the inside. So while i sat in the driver seat he walked up to the passenger side and peaked his head in not noticing me sitting there for a good five seconds.

Also at my senior prom a group of tourist at a expensive hotel stoped me and my date in the parking lot and started taking pictures with my car as if it were theirs.

 

I get Porsche Carrera ALOT

This customer pulled through the bank yesterday and said, "is that your red Z parked up there?" i told him yea, and he says, "wow, it must be nice owning a $60,000 car!" I told him, all that matters is that you think it's worth $60 grand

Driving through San Diego Gaslamp District (a bunch of bars and clubs) last weekend. This suv pulls up next to me, I hear "nice car!" As I look over, this girl pulls her top up and then juggles her pair. True story =]

 

"I would so blow him for a ride in that!"

 

Had similar ones;

"I would *** you for a ride in that car"

"I would do everything and anything to you in that car"

 

Saw a Porche Cayman at a stop light getting ready to turn he looks at me and I give him a thumbs up and he returns the favor. 'Mirin' each others cars or maybe he was just being nice

Take my car through a Jack in the Box drive-thru to get food for my nephews and the guy who was serving me spoke poor English but he knew what I was driving. I remember him saying "That's Nissan? Very nice car sir. Be careful with it" Lol awesome guy.

Those are the only two that really stand out.

"I dont know what kind of car that is, but its the sexiest car I've ever seen" quite a complement coming from a coffee drive though girl, she sees a lot of cars every day
