Looks pretty good!!! I might have to try some Zaino out and see how it compares to the Zymol I currently use. I am a little apprehensive to switching because Zymol is so amazing. I use HD cleanse and then Carbon Wax btw.

As the Zaino boys like to say, I "stacked" some more Zaino on the Green Ghost yesterday. I washed the car (no soap) and the water rolled right off of it. It was actually hard to keep the car wet! It had rained here once this past week and I drove the car to work in the rain. The next day was hot and sunny but the car still looked great (without me having to do anything).
After I dried it, I hit it with another coat of the Z6 and then:
Z5
Z6 again
Z3
Z6 again.
It really does look awesome! The above steps (including washing time) took about 2 and a half hours.
I don't have pics after yesterday's new layers but someone asked me to post before and after pics side by side.
Below is the car (in the same pose) after one coat of Zymol about a month ago:

do you make house calls?
Doc, I am also a doctor, but I don't like to spend that much time with my car unless I'm driving it.
I am also getting a track (silverstone). Would it be possible for you to swing by and give my car the treatment?
I think I would be able to handle the follow-up treatments OK.
BTW since you live in western PA and I live in western MD we're almost neighbors.
Do you think you will be going to summit point track??

rai: Got any residents to do it for you? I have two interns in our hospital that both want an ortho spot next year so they would pretty much do anything to get my vote. Maybe I won't have to spend so much time Zaino-ing after all!
I've never been to a track but I'm thinking about it.

I am in private practice (anesthesia) so not only don't I have any residents, but very few people do what I tell them to do.
I told my wife about the process and she gave me the thumbs down, something about how I never do anything around the house as it is. I'm not sure what all as I tend to tune her out when she starts talking about stuff around the house...

"...but very few people do what I tell them to do."
I like that
I know what you mean. You guys are kind of at the mercy of all us surgeons as to your work hours huh?
I get along really well with our gas-passers and nurse anesthetists. Whenever they ask me how long a case is going to take, I respond in "reading" time, since that's what they do if they get bored.
For example, if I have a big revision/reconstruction case, I'll tell them, "A Golf Digest, a Road and Track, and two Spider Man comics"
They love me!!!

Is it safe to use on a brand new car or should you wait a few months before using this or any wax on a new car.

The initial cost seems high but 2 bottles of Z6, one each of car wash, Z2, Z5 and Z1 lasts a year for me. That was just under $100 for a 12-14 month supply. And - you get what you pay for.

good one.
I always ask how much time till finished and the surgeons say like 20 minutes. I ask is that real time or surgeon time?
surgeon time is like 1 minute = 3 real minutes (kind of like dog years)
Whenever I go to give a partner a break, as I walk in I say "is this the same case?" just to bug the surgeon as if to say are you STILL on the same case?
BTW do you read comics? I used to be big into comics, do you remember RAI? Valiant comics. Check it out. they are available on E-bay. They have a much smaller audience than spider-man but are very cool

That would be very cool to see a contingent of 350z's at Summit in November. Although I drive a Celica GT-S, I just signed up earlier this week... all of the dates for Friday At The Track (FATT) are full before November. You might want to sign up soon, as they seem to be filling fast...

Hope to see you there... any chance I could beg a ride-along from you? Love the new 350z... I may have to upgrade one of these days!
