So I was at a club earlier tonight and this dude almost backed into me in the parking lot, so i revved the engine to prolly 5k or 6k and had the clutch pedal in all the way i thought, but i might have had it out a tiny bit. Anyways after this fiasco i noticed the clutch smell was pretty strong but the clutch was acting and feeling normal for the rest of the drive home. The smell has subsided a bit but when i got to my complex i could still smell it. Is there any reason to be worried right now? I have 62k miles on the car and this is the very first time ive smelt this but the clutch doesnt seem to slip at all even in higher gears so im only a lil bit worried......what u guys think, and how long does it take for that smell to go away???

I've done that many times. My clutch is wearing only now. I have about 35,000 miles. No worry just don't do it a lot or you'll need a new one. The smell is thick and can last a few miles. It seems to get in the fabric and stays... yuk. I hate when I burn my clutch.
