Packet Numbers Revisited
There is another thread on this forum which was started by Valdis, where people who pre-ordered, and received their "Secrets of the Z Revealed" packages, posted the date they ordered, and the number of their packet. I've kept track of this information, and am curious if there are forum members who as of yet have not posted this information.
Here is the current listing of packet numbers
If you did not post your packet number and date ordered on the previous thread, please feel free to do so now on this thread. (You can check the above link if you do not recall, or to see if I have your info correct). If I have made a mistake, then please PM me with the corrections.
So far, it appears that people who ordered after 5/29/02 have not received the packets.
If you did not receive a packet, but you have actually placed a pre-order (i.e.: you have completed a Buyers Order Form at a dealer) I'd still like to get your date ordered info, and add that to the list. Please, PLEASE do not post if you haven't actually completed a pre-order.
Why I am doing this? Well, I'm not sure. Keeps me out of trouble I think. Actually, I am hoping that we can all benefit from the results of this information.
Thanks,
Jeff (Scafremon)

Signed form on 14 Jan 02.
Received Nissan Confirmation letter on 18 Feb 02.
Pre-Order Packet S/N: 1018.
Enforcer
P.S. Dealer told me in 7 June 02 that the 1st car they will receive is mine (2 others on list before me) and it will come late July or early August 02. Talked to them today, took my RC 350Z in for them to play with (big hit), still no better info on delivery date.

Dates/Packet #'s charted
I took the liberty of graphing the preorder dates against the packet numbers. It appears that there is a general correlation between the two, with a few exceptions of course. This chart is based on the table that Scafremon posted initially and does not reflect the followups posted in this thread. Now, let's see if I can insert the graph into this message (this is my first post, so bear with me ).

Only the person who does the data entry can do the graphs!
Actually, good job on the graph, and good job on getting it into the thread. It looks a lot like the one I previously posted here , which probably looks alot like the graph another member posted in a thread (which I wasn't able to see for some reason).
If we could get organized, and stop duplicating efforts, I wonder what we could accomplish! Ok. Here's the plan. You finish up compiling the packet # info. I'm going to go and get a job at Nissan (mailroom),and work my way up to a cush job (management), and sneak a copy of the production schedule for all pre-orders (get fired), and make alot of friends here with the info I have obtained (unemployed - send money).

If these packet numbers are related to delivery positions, then I'm pissed at the dealer for not getting my pre-order in promptly and will be on a campaign to get my date moved appropiately.
Your info has been a great help. Thanks for the hard work!!!
