Default Knock, Knock!

Have many NA guys have experience knocking in their Z? I haven't had it since I first bought my car when the dealership guys filled it with regular.

But most recently I got some gas at Astro and my car is lagging on the power and knocks at low RPMS. Teaches me for using anything other than Chevron.

Boo.

No knock here, sounds like you may have grabbed some contaminated gas or something, maybe some water.

Gas stations are having to empty their tanks and perform maint on them before filling them with the new fuel blend, 10% enthol which is replacing MTBE. A news stations here have reported cars knocking or stopped running after they got fuel at a few of the stations. Most likely because they've hit the bottom of their tank which they may have not ever done b4 and who knows whats been sitting at the bottom or seaping into them.

Other than that no knock out of mine, only 4k miles on her though, and 91-93 octane for her.

I believe I got bad gas (an isolated incident.) Will a fillup a good gas on my next trip to the gas station take care of the problem or will this persist for a few tanks?

Next time you fill up try Lucas Fuel Treatment. This stuff is really good.
