So a few days ago I noticed that my car has been idling on the low end while stopped at lights so i posted here asking what you guys may think the problem is. a Couple of folks suggested a vaccum leak. Well I checked that out, all hoses and bolt seem in proper working order. Well I took my car in to tustin nissan today and had them do the recall work on my car for the fuel tank, and as i left i got a service engine soon light. I turned around and had them check it out and they said I got a multi engine misfire code. So i am freaking out because i am not sure if this was caused by my plenum spacer (which i installed 3-4 months ago) or what so I took off and decided to ask you guys what i should do.

Also can anyone suggest a reputable z mechanic in the tustin/irvine area? I would like to have someone with a little knowledge check this out.

so i did a search but mainly everything i found dealt with FI or random technology cats. My cats are stock and I am NA, running a basically stock engine with the exception of a plenum spacer and JWT air filter

sorry i dont know about your situation... but theres power nissan in irvine off lake forest dr. if your willing to make the drives there is also costa mesa nissan off harbor blvd, connell nissan in hb (even though some people say it sucks), buena park nissan... and of course performance nissan in duarte, but thats only if you are willing to drive.
