Default Current 350Z owners, I need your opinion

(sorry if this is a repeat, but my post never showed up)

I ordered a 350Z convertible last month. Now that the real pictures are out (see other threads here) I have a question for you guys who are already familiar with the car.

Does it look like the "bulkhead" behind the seat is in the same place? Will there be the same amount of leg room?

I am 6'2" so I am a little concerned if the space has been decreased. On the other hand, it seems like there is plenty of room for a convertible top in the rear bulkhead and in front of the rear brace already.

So, based on the new convertible pictures, can the seats go back as far as on the coupe? Maybe you can tell by comparing them to the door location?

thanks for any thought on the subject.

hmm, I didn't know there were any official convertable pics out there, the only ones I've seen are of a photochop and some guy who got his custom done..Am I missing anything?

As far as your question goes, I'm not exactly sure if they will change it but I'm 6'1 and I fit really easily and my salesman was 6'7 and he fit too..

Default Official Pictures

Yup, the first official photos are out and they were posted in the headlines section here. Here is a link

If you get a chance, I would be interested what you think about the seating issue after you look at the pictures.

After looking at those pics, I'd say I would fit ( I'm 6'3 ). The windshield looks to be in the exact same place as the standard Z. With that in mind the headroom would be the same. Though you give up alot of safety, if your concerned with rolling like I am.

I hear you about the safety thing but.. on nice days when I am driving the Z it will be because I am not driving my motorcycle. So really, the Z Roadster is a big step UP in safety for me.

Me To wife: "See? It's an investment in my safety! you want me to be safe don't you!?!? I have to buy the Z!"
