.
Rear wiper and motor = Maybe 3 lbs. not worth it if you need the wiper, but looks cool without.

Sound deadening = ~10lbs. I did this in my car and it took me FOREVER. Once finished, I weighed the bag and it was 9lbs something so I figure 10lbs. with the stuff that didn't make it to the bag. I wouldn't do this daunting task again if I were paid.

Speakers (non-BOSE) = Maybe 2 lbs. all together. I was just as suprised as you were as to how incredibly flimsy and lighweight they were. The headunit is another story, but still not worth sacraficing music if you drive your car everyday.

How much louder was it inside the car without the sound deadening? It's gotta be a PITA to get it all out but still... 10lbs is 10lbs. I'll end up doing this one eventually.

All 4 speakers only weigh 2 lbs combined??? I've heard the HU is a lot heaver, but still... you're saying each speaker only weighs 8 ounces? Are you positive?

Not positive, but they cannot weigh more than one pound each. I can't really comment on how loud it was after the sound deadening because I left all of the interior out as well, so if you are putting back all of your carpet and interior, then yours will be a lot quieter. Mine is loud.

A few tips on the sound deadener if you insist on doing it...Dry ice doesn't work as Nissan used some glue stuff that is a b**ch to get off. It took me at least 3 full days and some random 2-3 hour nights to get all of it out and I used a grinder for the glue. If you do lighter fluid and a rag to get the glue off, expect to spend a lot more time.

hehe did you bother with the two tweeters??? I forgot about those... lol I'm sure were splitting hairs now...

as far as the carpet... yeah I've already ditched that so I've got used to it being a little noiser anyway...

I've got an angle grinder and a dremel tool... I probably won't need any solvents, eh???

I did one tweeter and after seeing how little that weighed I decided that the other one wasn't worth taking off the door panel for lol. I will do it one day just so they match.

Put it this way...Before I ripped out the interior and changed to lightweight seats my car weighed 3,240 lbs. I took out all the interior, put in the seats, but added a twin turbo kit and bigger brakes, and my car weighed 3,240 lbs. You aren't going to lose that much. Unless you are making a dedicated track car, keep the interior so its nice to drive.

if you lose the weight on your body, you'll also reduce the weight in the vehicle while you're driving it...
