actually if i could i would change my vote. id say all you need is a reflash right now and that a utec would be overkill and extra cash with tuning it.

I'm N/A also with mods in sig and planing on going UTEC. Relized that the UTEC has 7 total maps, 5 you can adjust yourself. If you ever go to the track and run higher octane you'll have a map for that. Ever valet your car a tuned down map, leave it in a bad part of town a map that kill all fuel a timing. I say UTEC. My dyno shop & I think we can get another 10-20 whp & wtq from the UTEC. Also relized that a reflash is a map from some other car not yours. Its an guess of what your car is doing.

If you are staying NA, get the AAM reflash. IMHO

I'd personally say UTEC just because ive seen people with TS/AAM reflashes that have bad A/F ratios and loose power...UTEC seems far more consistant in that you can do the tuning yourself (or your shop). To be sure that you get a good tune seems worth the difference in money...untill they get more consistant with reflashes that is.

looks like dg350z just made the point for me... reflash's just arnt consistent. once you get a reflash and say the A/F ration is off, how much is another reflash to fix it?

im in the same market right now, i was debating with the utec & technosquare. im really leaning towards the utec cause im not done modding, plus if you get a really good tune you can pull atleast 20whp & tq.

i had a utec on my WRX and it was great. i was able to tune everything with my laptop. i would expect no less with a N/A UTEC setup on the Z.
