Suddenly, your GF forgets her brand new '06 Civic that she has been bragging about every chance she gets to practically begging to drive your Z.
You see, I just bought my Z and even though it's an '03 it gets more attention than her brand new Civic. So, secretly she expects me to drive her Civic and give her the Z to drive.
I'm sure you fellow Z owners would agree this is crazy!! I mean granted the Civic is a cute car but it is not only NOT a Z but it is a car for a woman or some guy in the 18-25 yr old bracket. Neither applies to me. I also think she is afraid that I will end up like the Z'er b4 me "Getting more @$$ than a toilet seat!" Hence, her attitude towards me since I got the "Z"
And yes, I am venting...even though I live in The Bahamas I can identify with what most of you have said in this post and then some!! What's really amazing is it has been less than a month and this car has changed my life in so many different ways!!

quite true...it is a generalization... I'm on 23 myself... but I know how i was when i was 17 and 18... Don't think I was ready for this kinda car at that age...and I considered myself pretty mature and responsible... but as you said... can't make that generalization about everyone... Wish ya the best
I should probably add somethign to this forum while i comment
"When you tell your girlfriend she has to go wash her hands before she comes in your car, because she was just eating an apple, and you don't want her getting the interior sticky."... hahah that didn't work out well.
