So I noticed my oil was real black after less than 3k miles on my last oil change and I was smelling burning oil(03 track 50k+ miles) so Performance started an oil consumption test a couple weeks ago.

After the not so "mini cruise" the weekend b4 last I noticed my gears grinding so I brought it in to have it checked out and finish the oil consumption test.

The end result is, My Z sitting on the lot while I drive a Lancer till the end of the week at which point I pick up my BRAND NEW 03 Track Z with 50k+ miles

I figure with everything in my mods list, + the new tires I will be getting in a couple of weeks, that with the exception of paint, my Z will be for all intents and purposes, NEW. I will never sell it so resale value is of no concern. Just thought I would share this with you guys. Oh and incase anyone is curious, they are replacing the Long Block & Transmission.

These carZ may have their issues but from my experiences, NISSAN has stood behind their product and I dont mind a little down time as long as the problem is being resolved and its not at my expense(financialy) Thumbs up to NISSAN for taking care of the problem with NO B.S.
